Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using WeedScout, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility and Accounts

WeedScout may be used without creating an account. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and platform requirements.

Subscriptions and Billing (Apple App Store)

If you purchase a WeedScout subscription through Apple:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the selected plan price.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Subscription terms shown in the app at purchase time (including price and billing period) are part of these terms.

Apple Licensed Application Terms

Your use of WeedScout on iOS is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: Apple Standard EULA. If there is a conflict between Apple's required terms and these terms, Apple's required terms apply to the extent required.

Permitted Use

You agree not to:

• Use WeedScout for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or disrupt the app or its services beyond what law permits.
• Upload malware, abusive content, or material that infringes third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

Data and User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in WeedScout (for example notes, photos, and logs). You grant WeedScout a limited right to process content only as needed to operate requested features. Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

WeedScout, including its software, branding, text, and design, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights explicitly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Important Disclaimers

Weed identification and management guidance is provided for informational purposes only. Results may vary by region, season, and image quality. Always verify high-risk identifications and treatment plans with local qualified professionals and relevant authorities.

WeedScout is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeedScout and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the app.

Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using WeedScout at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if required for legal, security, or operational reasons, including violations of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia, unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
